Cheerleader Information

SEASON 2010 Season officially starts Tuesday, August 13th, and ends the 3rd week in November. All cheerleading teams arrive at 5:30 p.m. on August 12th. Each team will get their practice schedule from individual coaches at that time.

AGE LEVELS Mites: 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades

Peewees: 5th and 6th grades

Midgets:7th and 8th grades

PRACTICES Practices will be held at Plymouth South Middle School.
Outdoor practices in August/September:
Indoor practices from September through November

Mites/Peewees/Midgets: All 3 teams 3 nights/week

GAMES (4) Home Varsity games at Plymouth South High School
(4) Away Varsity games. Locations to be determined.
Playoff game and Superbowl game to be determined.
All Varsity games are played on Sundays. Schedule to be given out at end of August.
**Junior Varsity games held on Saturday mornings. Cheer schedule for these
games to be given out at the end of August.

These games are suggested , not mandatory.

NEED AUGUST 12TH Medical release from physician that child may participate in cheerleading.
* **WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PRACTICE WITHOUT RELEASE***

June 2010 report card

Original birth certificate if child has not participated in 2009
(copy will be made that day)

SUPPLIED BY PSYF Sweater, skirt and vest (to be returned at season's end)
OTHER ACCESSORIES NEEDED (TO BE THROUGH PSYF IN JULY) ARTICLE / APPROXIMATE COST

COMPETITION ALL cheerleaders / ALL levels: November 2010
ATTENDANCE Cheerleading is a commitment unlike any other sport. The team can't practice if you are absent. Please consider this prior to registration, and if committed, make every effort to be in attendance.
