SEASON:                   2008 Season officially starts Tuesday, August 5^th, and ends the 3^rd week in November.  All cheerleading teams arrive at 5:30 p.m. 

                                    Each team will get their practice schedule from individual coaches at that time.

AGE LEVELS:          Mites:  7, 8, and 9 yrs. old (age 7 by 8/31/08, not 10 prior to 9/1/08)

                                    Peewees:  10 and 11 yrs. old (not 12 prior to 9/1/08)

                                    Midgets:  12, 13, and 14 yrs. old (not 15 prior to 12/31/08)

PRACTICES:           Practices will be held at Plymouth South High School.

                                    Outdoor practices in August  -Mites-3 nights/wk

                                                                                    -Peewees-3-4 nights per/wk

                                                                                    -Midgets-4 nights per/wk

GAMES:                    (4) Home Varsity games at Plymouth South High School

                                    (4) Away Varsity games, locations to be determined

                                    Playoff game and Superbowl game to be determined

                                    All Varsity games are played on Sundays, schedule given out end of August

                                    **Junior Varsity games held on Saturday mornings-cheer schedule for these games to be given out the end of August. 

NEED AUGUST 5^TH: Medical release from physician that child may  participate in cheerleading

                                    **WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PRACTICE WITHOUT RELEASE**

                                    June 2008 report card

                                    Original birth certificate if child has NOT participated in 2007 (copy will be made there that day)

SUPPLIED BY PSYF: Sweater, skirt and vest-TO BE RETURNED AT SEASON’S END

COMPETITION:     ALL CHEERLEADERS/ALL LEVELS~November 2008

ATTENDANCE:      Cheerleading is a commitment unlike any other sport.  The team can’t practice their routine if you are absent. 

                                   Please consider this prior to registration, and if committed, make every effort to be in attendance.
